Fachini Restaurant
Fachini is an Italian American restaurant located above the theater in historic Highland Park Village. Together with the owner, a local restaurateur, Emily Summers Design Associates designed a contemporary space with an old-world feel. As one ascends the dramatic dark wood staircase entrance, geometric brass pendants lead the way to a cozy bar. The dining room floors are tiled in white hexagons with black rosettes - a nod to Italian bistros. The walls are covered in a rich navy blue plaster adjacent to exposed brick walls that highlight the original character of the building. Accents of cognac leather on the banquets and brass chandeliers provide an intimate dining experience. Large black and white photos by Laura Wilson add a contemporary spin on the classic Italian celebrity photos often seen in other iconic restaurants.
