Dallas Arboretum Camp House

The Dallas Arboretum’s Camp House was originally designed by the late architect John Staub for real estate developer Alex Camp and his wife in 1937. Later it was restored to respect the original design concept, and to also accommodate the current hospitality function of the space and highlight the house’s best feature – the gardens outside. The house is a beautiful mix of Latin Colonial, English Regency, and Art Deco Styles, and has a unique layout that is only one room deep, which affords three exposures to the outside for all living spaces and bedrooms.
