Starting with the 12,000 sq. ft. penthouse framework of the W Victory Park Residences, it was essential to provide a compelling space for business and civic meetings and entertainment. The penthouse design needed to relate with the modern architecture of the building and showcase the 360-degree views of the downtown skyline. The colors used in the space were influenced by the changing sky at various times of the day. The palette included natural materials such as leather, limestone, oak, teak, hemp, banana fiber and plaster as well as modern elements like custom steel and pixelated glass panels and doors. The art program developed specifically for the client often refers to the theme of the sky and flight.
